PORTFOLIO
Quick summary:
-
Video Editor
I possess a solid background of 7 years in editing diverse content formats, ranging from episodic TV content, short films, and trailers to long-form YouTube videos and concise social media content, including advertisements. This expertise has been garnered through a blend of freelance engagements, full-time positions, and personal ventures.
-
Content Creator
With 4 years of comprehensive experience in content creation, my focus primarily centers on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, and TikTok, along with active community management on these channels.
As a result, I can approach social media editing not only from the perspective of a consumer and editor but also from that of a content creator.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media reels and ads cut together from stock footage or footage provided by the client. Graphics and music choice were added by me.

EPISODIC WORK
Social Media Ads
I was the lead editor of the talk show "The Nest", the comedy talk show "Munchie Run" and the baking show "Edibles" (Season 2). As lead editor, I edited most or all of the 8- 12 episodes myself. From assembly cut to final export - I was responsible for the overall structure and had a say in the design of the graphics, the music, and the general tonality of each show. I cut down multiple hours of footage for the story, chose camera angles, added music, and sound effects, and created, adjusted, and/or implemented the graphical assets.
I also edited some episodes of "Pot Pie", from assembly to final export, as well as some fine cut work for
"Mildly Interesting", "High With Ty" and "High Tech".

SHORT FILMS
Short films of different lengths and genres. I was the sole editor for the entirety of each project. I organized, imported, and synced all footage and took them from the first assembly to the final export. During this process, I was always directly communicating with the director (if it wasn't me), taking and implementing notes through the various versions.
"The Farmer" was made for the 48H Film Project in Los Angeles. The premise for the project is that the entire short film has to be written, filmed, edited and submitted within 48 hours of receiving a random prompt. I acted as DIT on set to get a head start on synching footage and starting the assembly, and had less than 24 hours to edit the entire film to the fine cut stage. Another editor took over the final touches. The short received 1 win and 8 nominations at the 48H Film Project Awards.
TRAILERS & CLIPS
Trailers, clips and short content under 2 minutes. Depending on the project, these were cut from multiple days of footage, stock footage or previously edited episodic content.
I was lead editor of 'The Smoking Pot' season 2. I edited, chose the music for, and color corrected all episodes.
Not shown here: All episodes mentioned in the "episodic" section above, had multiple social media trailers cut from them. Those were 1 minute trailers or highlights, specifically made and adjusted for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
