ABOUT ME

I'm Sarah, 28 years old, currently living in Germany.

I've always been a very visual person and started taking pictures before I even knew how cameras worked. My career and studied professions reflect exactly that, a passion and love for different visual mediums that allow us to express and convey emotion, and connect to others.

For most of my life, I lived in Germany, my home country. There I studied three years for my German Associate in Graphic Design. I learned how to work on requests in many visual fields, such as graphic design, typography, drawing, calligraphy and my personal favorites media design and photography. I learned to design logos, posters, webpages, flyers, brochures, labels and much more by utilizing all of the above and programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

 

In 2019, I returned to Germany after living in Los Angeles for almost 5 years. There I graduated with an Associate's degree for Fine Arts in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in May 2018. I also took two semesters of the Bachelor for Fine Arts in Acting for Film and an 8-week Photography course. During my time in LA I worked as an editor for Ronin Content (formerly PRØHBTD), and worked on several student films in various positions, such as editor, director, assistant camera, actor, makeup artist, director of photography, production designer and sound mixer.

Currently, I am working as a freelancer whenever I can, while combining my filmmaking education, graphic design knowledge and personal interests in video games on my Twitch channel. I also ran a YouTube channel, which I started at the end of April 2020 but stopped creating for mid-2021.

 

I am fluent in German and English. I have access to and experience in Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom,  Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
